Job Description

Excellent opportunity with an industry leader looking for the best and brightest in Industrial Maintenance Custodians, to join a growing team!

Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm, with 30 minute lunch break and occasional early morning start or late evening finish timesHourly Pay: $17/hr

What you'll do as an Industrial Maintenance Custodian:

Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in offices, bathrooms, and breakrooms.Clean and sanitize restroom fixtures, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors.Wipe down all surfaces int he building, as well as the countertops, tables, and chairs in breakrooms.Sweep and power wash exterior walkways, loading docks, and other designated areas to remove dirt, debris, and stains.Clean exterior windows and doors to maintain a professional appearance.Remove litter and debris from parking lots and surrounding areas.Empty indoor and outdoor trash bins and dumpsters, ensuring proper disposal of waste, and monitoring outdoor trash receptacles for overflow and address as needed.

Work Experience

The Preferred Candidate Might Have:

Understanding of safety protocols and procedures when working in an industrial environment, including handling cleaning chemicals safely and using personal protective equipment (PPE).Notice and address cleanliness issues promptly, ensuring that all areas of the facility are consistently well-maintained.Capacity to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time to complete cleaning duties within specified timeframes.Perform tasks that involve bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods, as well as working outdoors in various weather conditions.Good communication skills to effectively coordinate with other staff members and report any maintenance or cleanliness issues to supervisors promptly.
