The Industry 4.0 Engineer will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of smart manufacturing systems and processes. This role focuses on integrating advanced technologies such as IoT, automation, big data analytics, artificial intelligence, and cyber-physical systems to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and innovation. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong technical background and a passion for digital transformation.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement Industry 4.0 solutions, including IoT devices, automation systems, and digital twins, to optimize manufacturing processesDevelop and deploy data analytics platforms to monitor real-time performance, predict maintenance needs, and improve decision-makingAnalyze existing processes and recommend improvements using Industry 4.0 technologies to reduce waste and increase efficiencyWork with AI, IT, operations, and engineering teams to align Industry 4.0 initiatives with business goalsProvide training to staff on new systems and technologies, ensuring smooth adoption and operationStay updated on emerging Industry 4.0 trends and technologies to drive continuous improvementMinimum RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, automation, or industrial engineering, with at least 2 years focused on Industry 4.0 technologiesProficiency in IoT platforms (e.g., MQTT, OPC UA), UNS, and industrial communication protocolsExperience with automation tools (e.g., PLC programming, HMI, MES, SCADA systems)Knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and machine learning frameworksFamiliarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Snowflake) and digital twin technologiesUnderstanding of cybersecurity principles for industrial systemsPreferred QualificationsCertification in Industry 4.0, IoT, Ignition Core/Gold, or AWS Cloud PractitionerExperience with manufacturing in industrial applicationsAbout Reply
