Industry Marketing Lead, Artificial Intelligence
**Summary:** Meta’s Global Industry Marketing team is actively seeking a full-time and experienced marketing professional who will drive key industry marketing initiatives on a global scale—particularly those that relate to Meta’s quickly growing AI and Llama products.The Industry Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and driving a strategic industry marketing plan related to Meta’s AI products and educating the industry. They will also be tasked with identifying, corresponding and securing opportunities at the most impactful events and industry moments. The Industry Marketing Manager role will also require an extensive amount of relationship-building—from forging strategic partnerships with industry partners to gaining the trust of cross-functional partners and key stakeholders worldwide. They will also be responsible for developing thought leadership strategy for Meta-owned tentpole events for developers and enterprise partners. This individual will be joining Meta’s Global Industry Marketing team, responsible for Meta’s largest thought leadership and industry partnerships work across the company. **Required Skills:** Industry Marketing Lead, Artificial Intelligence Responsibilities: 1. Develop an industry marketing plan that outlines ways to engage with key industry organizations and secure relevant opportunities to advance Meta’s leadership in AI 2. Develop calendar of tentpoles, industry events and key moments where Meta can deliver its AI narratives. Identify, pitch and manage key activations at industry events. 3. Operationalize & scale this plan via processes, best practices and cross-functional collaboration 4. Manage external agency vendor for placement, pitching and logistics 5. Manage an executive speaker program that will not only elevate the profiles of Meta's current AI thought leaders, but will also prepare a group of speakers 6. Build close relationships both internally and externally to ensure the Global Industry Marketing team is always aware of (or ahead of) the current state of the industry when it comes to AI 7. Forge partnerships with key industry and event organizations (i.e., TED, eMarketer, Reuters) for long-term benefit to both the partner, Meta and the broader industry. Develop a co-marketing plan with these organizations that includes activation, and content. 8. Create bespoke partnerships with key industry organizations to foster connections and build communities for AI influencers, developers and enterprise partners 9. Drive thought leadership strategy and development for Meta owned tent poles for AI. Assemble and manage an internal tiger team to deliver and produce content. 10. Support the wider Industry Marketing team on our thought leadership programming needs at internal and external events. 11. A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, “always on,” entrepreneurial environment. **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 12. 8 + years of industry marketing experience that demonstrates knowledge of relevant partners and events for AI across developers, consumers, tech, and enterprise 13. Demonstrated understanding of AI products as it relates to marketing and customer experiences—and of key challenges 14. Demonstrated history of relationship-building, particularly with industry thought leaders, industry organization leaders, etc. 15. Skilled when it comes to working cross-functionally and building long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders 16. The individual who ultimately steps into this role must possess effective organizational and communications skills—and an experience marketing mentality. 17. They should possess a genuine viewpoint for marketing, business products and, above all else, the Meta mission. 18. Be the industry expert in AI-related opportunities and identify tangential opportunities that will broaden the impact of AI narratives. Proven experience in identifying and negotiating sponsorship deals that will help tell Meta’s AI story **Preferred Qualifications:** Preferred Qualifications: 19. Experience in managing an editorial calendar and pitching ideas and stories (experience in managing a PR agency is a plus) 20.
