Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai'i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawai'i’s leader in the care of women, infants and children. With 253 beds, the not-for-profit hospital delivers 6,000 babies a year, and is also a medical teaching and research facility. Our integrated program involves many highly trained specialists with experience in work-related therapy and care programs. The Infant Therapist evaluates infant patients, develops therapeutic plans, and provides family-centered care. You will emphasize the integration of knowledge about neonatal conditions and equipment, supporting infant development, and collaborating with medical teams. You will also be responsible for educating families, documenting patient care, adhering to safety policies, participating in training and quality management activities, and serves as a clinical resource. Current American Heart Association Heart Saver – AED CPR card. Two (2) years of clinical experience, including one (1) year in infants and pediatrics. **Preferred Qualifications:** One (1) year general occupational therapy or speech language therapy experience.
