West Chicago Terrace is an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) with 120 beds, proudly serving the behavioral/psych population. We are in a quiet residential area, across the street from an elementary school and easy to commute to. A few key highlights:

Job Description
What you will do in this role:
You will work closely with our DON to develop & implement the infection control program (ICP) in accordance with current IDPH regulations for our SNF environment. You will ensure compliance with current CDC, OSHA, and local regulations to provide staff education and training as needed. You will need to perform Infection (ICP) Surveillance; tracking & trending and developing action plans accordingly. You will lead the weekly Infection Control QAPI meetings and routinely monitor antibiotics usage & physician prescribing practices. What we need from you:
Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in ILThe a-IPC EPI (101 and 102 for LTC), or CIC (Certification in Infection Prevention and Control) is ideal. But we will also consider applicants with a current (or willing to obtain the) CDC infection Prevention Training Course.
