As an Infection Preventionist, you will play a vital role in our dedicated team, working under direct supervision to implement infection prevention programs and practices tailored to our specific settings and populations served. **This role includes travel to various clinic locations in the Magic Valley area, Wood River area, and covering the Treasure Valley area.** **What You Can Expect as an Infection Preventionist:** + Implement and monitor infection prevention programs. + Conduct surveillance, report findings, and assist with outbreak investigations. + Design and deliver educational programs to enhance infection prevention. + Perform risk assessments and develop action plans. + Ensure compliance with OSHA, CDC, and other regulations. + Analyze data to identify trends and support improvement projects. + Apply cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization best practices. + Collaborate with public health organizations to address infection control needs. **Preferred Qualifications:** Experience in: + Infection Prevention + Epidemiology/Public Health + Healthcare settings: Inpatient, Post-Acute, or Ambulatory + Microbiology or Laboratory **Preferred Certifications:** + A-IPC, CIC, LTC-CIP **Qualifications:** + **Education:** Bachelor’s degree required. + **Experience:** 1 year preferred. **What’s in it for you** At St. Luke’s, caring for people in the communities we serve is our mission – and this includes our own SLHS team.
