As the Infection Preventionist (IP), you will work with a strong team of medical professionals to develop a system of care that promotes sound and scientific infection prevention principles and practices. Through strategic planning, leadership, and consultation, the IP is accountable for decreasing the incidence and transmission of infection diseases between patients, staff, visitors and the community.
Requirements:
Registered Nurse (RN) Speciality training in Infection Prevention and Control through accredited continuing education Must have, as a minimum, one-year experience in a health-related facility Experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, etc. Possess critical thinking skills, strong communication skills and the ability to leadWe offer:
