This position is responsible for business development activities leading to acquiring new clients and growing the revenue from providers in Infectious Disease/Immunology.

This is a field-based role and the territory encompasses MD, DE, VA, and a portion of DC. In addition to a robust benefits package, a company car and gas card will be provided. 


Conduct market research on client prospects in the assigned specialtiesAcquire information from Physician Account Executives, HCPAMs and IAMs on specialty opportunitiesDevelop a pipeline of prospects, expected closing month and approximate annual revenueOverlay rep to drive specific IDI anchor tests in Rheumatology, Pediatrician, Allergist, Occ Med, Infectious Disease, Internal Medicine, General/Family Practice, FQHC, Gastro, Multi-Specialty GroupsConduct business development activities to arrange appointments for sales presentations with decision makersPresent value proposition to prospectsObtain pricing and special servicesComplete contracting processInitiate client set-up and onboardingQualify leads from Internal Account Managers and follow upPartner with regional Marketing on trends and insights in the specialty spaceFacilitate problem resolution on behalf of clientsUpdate client and prospect notes in SFDCEducate other sales reps on opportunities within specialty accounts

Required Work Experience: 

Three years sales experience in healthcare sales and servicing

Preferred Work Experience: 

Five years healthcare sales experience in general and specialty fieldsExperience calling on infectious disease, allergy, immunology, etc.

Knowledge:

Clinical knowledge of assigned specialties; understanding of sales processes, account management and sales productivity and marketing tools (e.g.: SFDC)

Skills: 

Capabilities to prospectStrategize and close new business opportunitiesCommunication and presentation skills.
