The KHN Informatics Analyst implements informatics solutions and technologies to support the provision of patient care, clinical decision making, outcomes management and research.Assess, identifies issues and outcomes to accomplish informatics goals for specific clinical settings(ex. ED, Critical Care, Perinatal, Perioperative, Med/Surg, etc).Assumes leadership responsibilities for simple to moderately complex projects whose scope remains within a single hospital or clinical area involving the automation of patient data with corresponding workflow changes.Considers factors related to safety, effectiveness, cost and impact on clinical practice in the planning and delivery of services.Uses the following strategies to accomplish informatics goals: Project management methodology Workflow documentation and analysis Training based on adult learning principles Change management methods Organizational and interpersonal communications

Qualifications 

Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse or other Health ProfessionalFor RN candidates: Bachelor of Science in Nursing required from an accredited school of nursing (NLN or CCNE) For Non RN candidates: Associates Degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred. A minimum of 3 years clinical experience. Clinical experience that has provided opportunity to demonstrate competencies in clinical care, computer science, leadership, education, and or staff development required.
