Informatics RN - IT - FT - Days
Analyzes business processes and data to identify opportunities to automate and/or improve existing processes using information technology.Performs market and industry research to support conclusions and recommendations. Develops and provides recommendations regarding business process/performance improvements.Serves as a consultant to management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures.Serves as key customer contact for inquiries and resolution of customer issues.Integrates the clinical applications into the clinical business processes, including project planning, system testing, super user training and application support.Acts as a liaison between IT and physicians/clinical departments in addressing requests for system access, training and system solutions.Prepares documentation for new and existing system processes.Assists with the ongoing training of physicians and clinical staff.Participates in clinical user groups and identifies processes that could be improved by system enhancements.
Minimum Education
Associate's Degree Required
Graduate of a Program in Discipline PreferredMinimum Work Experience
Minimum of three years of clinical experience required.
Experience working with information system implementations in an acute care setting preferred.Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Knowledge of healthcare software applications and usage.
Must be adept at problem solving, logical thinking, and analytical assessment of information systems.Required Licenses
