when needed + Expert knowledge of information security principles, frameworks, and best practices + Proven track record of managing complex security projects and initiatives + Experience in developing and implementing organization-wide security policies + Strong leadership and team management skills + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities + Outstanding written and verbal communication skills + Ability to communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences Subject Matter Expert/SME: + Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree) + 12+ years of extensive experience in information assurance or cybersecurity, with a significant portion in leadership roles + US Citizen with ability to obtain/maintain Secret security clearance, when needed + Demonstrated expertise in managing enterprise-level security programs and initiatives + In-depth knowledge of current and emerging threats, security technologies, and best practices + Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills + Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills + Ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organization _Desired:_ Junior: + Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP Associate) + Familiarity with NIST cybersecurity framework + Knowledge of federal information security regulations and standards + Experience with security information and event management (SIEM)
