Information & Cyber Security Deputy Practice Leader - Manila

WTW is building the Internal Information & Cyber Security (ICS) capability to cater to the growing Information Security, Risk and Assurance needs of their business, clients and regulatory requirements. The capabilities being developed address different areas of Information Security, including Governance, Risk & Compliance, IT Client Services & Supplier Risk, Cyber Security and Application Security Risk. 
To this end the Manila team is being developed as the Security Center of Expertise and is responsible, as well accountable, for the delivery of the services provided by the ICS function globally. The role supports the development and implementation of operations strategy for Information Security COE and ensures the ongoing delivery of excellent client service across all segments, taking overall responsibility for the operational efficiency of the team.
 

The Role

Operations Management /Operational Effectiveness

Drive initiatives in the management team and the organization that contribute to long-term operational excellence. Manage stakeholder relationships Lead work transition activities for Information Security team Lead process enhancement/continuous improvement projects by implementing GAP analysis, developing to-be processes and identifying training needs Maintain effective governance, and compliance requirements of the organizations control frameworks Oversee metrics to meet strategic objectives and monitor and evaluate performance of the team and services Continuously review and establish a robust performance measurement structure Capacity Planning

People Management / Development

Assist with interviewing and selection of team members and serve as a role model and mentor your team and others Responsible for developing Managers and Service Managers through coaching and team building while serving as an escalation point for operational issues Work with HR to develop & implement a Talent Management strategy for the Information Security Team Conduct periodic and annual performance reviews for all direct report

Strategy

Contribute to the development of the short and long-term Business Unit (BU) strategy in conjunction with overseas counterparts. Review future work transfer opportunities and present proposals/ work transition plans to Senior Management and relevant stakeholders Partner with leadership to lead change by managing strategic initiatives to meet business needs

The Requirements

Qualifications:

Qualified to degree level, preferably in a business, IT or security related subject.

Knowledge/Experience: 

Essential

At least 7 years of experience with at least 5 of these in Operations Management.Experienced leader with proven ability in managing large service delivery teams.Able to manage diverse processes with multiple stakeholdersKnowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management, implementing best practicesProven ability in delivering excellent levels of client servicePreferably experienced in conducting transitions/ knowledge transfer activitiesAbility to establish robust performance measurement structureHighly developed critical thinking and analytical skillsDemonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiativesExcellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style
