The Information Delivery Lead – Brazil role will be a key member of the Information Delivery team within the Global IT Group. This role focuses on driving global reporting standards in the region and providing region-specific reporting to support the organization’s growth agenda. As one of the largest consumer goods companies in the world, Newell relies heavily upon data and analytics, and has a suite of global reporting tools. This manager will be responsible for working with regional internal business partners to maximize value of these existing global solutions as well as building new solutions, partnering with internal development teams and outside consulting partners. This role involves close collaboration with senior leaders to build program roadmaps, manage budgets, certify and manage vendor partners, create and execute training and change management plans, and ensure enterprise-wide adoption.
Job Duties
Act as the liaison with various business areas regarding reporting strategy. Engages the business to ensure that the BI vision / reporting solutions are properly communicated and adopted.
Gather requirements and document functional specifications - obtains approvals from the business, drives standards, utilizes a common design approach.
Partner with leaders across the business to build BI roadmaps, including the building of businesses cases, project plans, and budgets, and works to gain funding approval for these efforts.
Aides the business in responding to key business questions, requiring detailed knowledge of available data, and requiring strong capability on enterprise reporting tools (e.g.,Datasul, Power BI, SAP BEx, SAP BOBJ, etc.).
Stays abreast of ongoing initiatives across the organization and plans adaptations to BI solutions to align with changing business needs.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date operational reporting for Brazil across key business functions, providing essential information for decision-making.
Collaborate with the Brazilian business applications team to develop and maintain data feeds to the regional and global reporting environments, leveraging Corporate Analytics to improve data visibility and accuracy.
Drive local business ownership and accountability for the development and use of customized reporting required to manage business.
Qualifications
Education - A technology or engineering degree with an emphasis on Business, Finance or Supply Chain along with proven work experience
Solid experience leading enterprise-wide BI projects across various platforms.
Experience in CPG or Retail with a strong understanding of how data is used in these industries.
English & Portuguese - advanced to fluent level
Top-tier communication skills, with experience working with VP-level and up. Must include time leading workshops and design sessions.
Experience working with sales, finance, customer service or supply chain.
Experience with SAP ECC, Datasul, SQL, Power BI, Databricks, Azure highly preferred.
Full, proven understanding of SDLC for BI.
Passion for data quality and best practices supporting data accuracy
Experience building and executing training and change management programs
Travel availability (approx. 10-20%)

Cloud BI platforms, especially Azure
Data visualization tools, especially Power BI
SQL and Excel skills
