Information Environment Analyst
Job Description

The Information Environment Analyst supports a social media program in Tampa, FL. The candidate will conduct social media research leveraging his/her cultural, linguistic, and experience to coordinate and synchronizes operational activities in a cyber environment. Coordinates trans-regional actions, planning and execution of internet-based Military Information Support Operations (MISO) within all requesting government stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, working both independently and as an important member of the team. This candidate will support the on-site Manager to execute tasks.

HOW AN INFORMATION ENVIRONMENT ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Develops and maintains expertise with designated regional issues and draws upon publicly available online information resources.

Reads, analyzes, regarding regional and ideological discussions in specified foreign language online media environments.

Examine current media statements or postings to support trend analysis and identifies key communicators.

Demonstrates reading and analyzation expertise in the assigned language and incorporates custom social media solutions to comprehend online environments and analyses trends effectively.

Demonstrates knowledge of online social media and different technologies, marketing, and documents activities.

Monitors the status and growth of information communication technologies to make recommendations for technological changes or improvements to the program.

Synthesizes information and presents briefings at the senior decision maker level.

Applies linguistic and cultural expertise for quality control purposes.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Security Clearance Level: SECRET clearance required; accepted candidates will be submitted for TS. Active TS/SCI preferred.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related business or technical discipline; significant experience may be accepted in lieu.

Experience: 3+ years of related experience.

Skills and abilities: Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills Proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications. Some travel may be required

Location: On Customer Site

OSINT experience

Military or Department of Defense experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
