Become an Information Governance and Provisioning Sr Specialist at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you will provide technical expertise and perform sophisticated analysis for the T&D Governance and Provisioning organization. The Sr. Specialist is expected to facilitate special assignments and projects whose outcomes are time sensitive, resource intense, high value client focused, and technical. The Sr. Specialist will partner with team members across SCE (typically at the senior management and executive levels) to facilitate organizational unit governance projects and solutions. Act as their key contact to resolve both complex functional and broad business issues related to T&D governance, staffing, and provisioning capabilities. Work with various departments, processes, systems, and information to develop recommendations and support the implementation of improvements and maintain data integrity. You will also provide business and technical expertise to support maintenance of T&D’s people, process, compliance, and access management repository.

Responsibilities Operates independently and with peers to execute information governance and data management practices and processes Provides oversight and guidance for the information governance requirements pertaining to security project risk assessments Sets, implements, follows, and promotes understanding of organizational policies and best practices in Information Governance Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained Collaborates with key business areas to understand new requirements and develop recommendations for system enhancements Provides implementation support for deploying information governance controls, working with a variety of stakeholders Provides ultimate control for work and information governance Synthesizes key information, data and research in order to recommend information governance initiatives that deliver business value across a single data domain Gathers, interprets and evaluates information for incorporation into on-going department operations A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity. Minimum Qualifications Five or more years of experience with information governance and data management practices and processes.Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Transmission & Distribution business functions. Experience with provisioning for technology projects. Experience with field tool oversight and inventory management. Experience performing an audience impact analysis integrating multiple projects. Experience with SQL, Query and Database Design. Experience with process automation and/or robotics. Demonstrated experience with Erwin/Casewise/Evolve database management or other relational database design and maintenance. Demonstrated experience with process design and complex analytics. Advanced experience with software tools ie: Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Project and Visio. Experience completing multiple projects/assignments concurrently while adjusting to changing priorities. Experience interfacing and collaborating with clients, vendors, peers, management, and other departments.
Additional Information
This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
