Position Summary

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Information Governance Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's Information Governance (IG) program, providing limited paralegal support to the Legal department, administering the company’s mobile phone app, and assisting the Marketing department with information needed for proposals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information governance, and legal support, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

The Information Governance Manager is responsible for building, maintaining, and auditing the company’s IG program, as well as participating in the development and implementation of legal processes and technical solutions relating to IG. The Information Governance Manager plays a strategic role, helping to make decisions and provide oversight of the IG program. The Information Governance Manager serves as the primary advisor to senior executive management concerning IG policies and practices.

Candidates for this position must possess comprehensive management skills, including organizational leadership capabilities. Must be able to manage multiple initiatives and operate at both the Program and Project level. IG coordinators are located around the country, so the ability to manage remote teams is an essential skill for this position.
