Information Governance PM III, WWGS Information Governance
Description Amazon World Wide Grocery Store Tech (WWGST) is seeking an experienced and proven PM III to lead strategic Information Governance Program initiatives that support WWGS data goals. This is a unique opportunity for someone inspired by the WWGST core values and is interested in Amazon’s high-growth grocery business to bring their whole self to the role. Key job responsibilities We are seeking an experienced PM III who will leverage their experience and talent to lead Information Governance Program initiatives. This high impact role will be part of a team that will mature WWGS data management processes and standards. This role will also help to move a patchwork of 3p solutions to 1p. You will partner with Data Engineers, Business Intelligence Engineers, Analysts, Product Managers, and other Program Managers inside and outside of the team. You will use your organization skills, backbone, and high sense of ownership while collaborating with the rest of your team. You will have an opportunity to make a large impact on our data quality, data use, and data ownership. You will be a part of a Information Governance team well versed in best practice and will contribute to deliver the nascent Information Governance Program to Amazon WWGS. Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of program or project management experience - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership Preferred Qualifications - 2+ years of driving process improvements experience - Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
