Job Description

To provide expertise, advice and support through the implementation of the organizational information management strategy by facilitating the definition, design and implementation of information management processes, business and technical requirements and solutions

·   Analyze business processes and data flows to create comprehensive Data Flow Diagrams that accurately represent the movement of information across systems, applications, and business units.

·   Ensure diagrams are updated regularly to reflect system changes, new data sources, and evolving business requirements.

·   Identify and document data entry, storage, transformation, and output points to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.

·   Implement controls to mitigate risks in data flows, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and availability.

·   Define and implement Information Management specialization policies and governance

·   Define and design Information Management specialization strategy

·   Define the Information Management specialization architecture.

·   Define approach for Information Management specialization repository management and set up repositories

·   Implement managed Information Management specialization environment

·   Take all necessary actions to ensure compliance with relevant statutory, legislative, policy and governance requirements in area of accountability

·   Maintain expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices and FNB’s internal compliance procedures and requirements.

·   Ensure compliance is adopted in terms of systems and procedures as laid out by FNB.

·   Implement and provide input into the development of governance and compliance procedures and processes within area of specialization and identify risk.

·   Ensure optimal usage and protection of business assets.
