Relocation assistance is **not** available for this position. Manages and analyzes information using a variety of techniques and tools, supports data management efforts with business owners and technical teams to manage and analyze information and data including master and reference data in adherence to USAA internal policies, standards, procedures, and external laws and regulations. This role will support one or more information management functions: · Metadata management to ensure information is understood. · Data Quality to ensure data is measured and trusted. · Retention Management to ensure data is retained and purged appropriately. · Data Security to ensure data is properly secured and handled based on sensitivity and regulatory requirements. This may include working with the Information Asset Stewards and technical Owners to log data sources, support the Authoritative Data Source certification, ingest metadata and data lineage into the Enterprise Data Repository, provide data quality oversight, monitor data SLAs and data quality index, remediation times, and monitor material modifications to ensure re-certification occurs if warranted.. **What you'll do:** + Perform data source analysis to identify authoritative data sources for AML transaction monitoring, customer risk factor scoring. + Perform source data analysis and Actimize data analysis to ensure correct understating and translation of the source data into Actimize. + Create source to target data mapping. + Collaborate with DPOs and IT team to ensure the mapping is implemented correctly. + Create UAT test cases and execute on UAT. + Perform Postproduction Validation. + Define effective and sufficient data quality rules and data reconciliation processes. + Fulfill information management activities, including but not limited to DDLC documentation, maintaining metadata information, identifying critical data elements (CDEs), create/maintain Information Sharing Agreement (ISA) and Data Service Level Agreement, + Perform root cause analysis on data quality incidents. **What you have:** + Bachelor's Degree in Business or Science subject area is required; OR 4 years of related data and analytics or technical experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree + 4 years of experience in an information management practice, business application function, or data delivery; OR If Advanced degree in a Business or Science subject area, 2 years of experience in data and analytics, technical, or business relevant function + Basic working experience following data management practices and theories and using tools to implement data management to address data management risks and concerns. + Intermediate Working SQL knowledge including SQL-based languages. + Ability to build business knowledge through meaningful partnerships at the individual contributor and leadership levels. + Demonstrates skills in understanding and correcting data discrepancies, identifying data anomalies, and root cause analysis. + Demonstrated advanced communication skills with the ability to deliver presentations to all levels of management. **What sets you apart:** + Hardworking, can-do attitude. + Proactive and collaborative spirit. + Strong data analytical skills using SQL/SAS/Python. + Deep understanding of relational databases and using data to provide insight. + Data processes and controls experience. + Familiar with ETL processing. + Experience in root cause analysis on data issues. + Experience with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Sanctions Screening. + US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner [optional] The above description reflects the details considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job and should not be construed as a detailed description of all the work requirements that may be performed in the job. **Compensation range:** The salary range for this position is: $103,450 - $197,730 **.** **Compensation:** USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location. Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
