Our work depends on an Information Management Specialist joining our team to protect our data from creation to disposition: from information governance through to legal investigations, records retention, and more.

HOW AN INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Manages and carries out project tasks for eDiscovery matters, including collections, processing, searching, productions, and coordination with legal counsel, outside vendors, IT personnel, and data custodians, with detailed documentation of critical requests and actions performed
● Manages our Preservation Inventory and eDiscovery Lab
● Performs all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of data assets and to protect data from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction

● Implements and assists in the governance and enforcement of data protection policies and data spill response
● Continually improves upon and documents information management and eDiscovery processes and procedures to maintain efficient, auditable, repeatable routine practices


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Litigation Support with specialization in eDiscovery; or certification in a relevant field, such as: CEDS, eDAdv, eDTech, IGP, Essentials of IG, CDMP; or equivalent experience
● Required Experience: 3+ years of related experience
● Required Technical Skills:

Knowledgeable about the Information Lifecycle and the eDiscovery Reference ModelBroad knowledge of IT infrastructures, including storage, backup, retention, destruction, and data management; especially in the M365 suiteSolid understanding of best practices related to handling sensitive informationSolid understanding of discovery methodologies and the legal processes and requirements of discoveryKnowledge and experience in evidence handling and processingDemonstrated proficiency in Boolean searches or building logical expressions


● Required Skills and Abilities:

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical terminology, concepts, and issues in terms understandable to both technical and non-technical resourcesAbility to build meaningful relationships with both remote and local members of your team in a hybrid environmentAbility to manage projects and proactively prioritize competing requirementsIntuitiveness with an ability to identify and point out opportunities for improvement in a complex environment
