The Information Security analyst will have a wide range of responsibilities across many security disciplines. This role will work collaboratively across different departments in order to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data and information systems at Lendio. The successful candidate will help in implementing and managing Lendio’s security measures to help protect computer systems, networks, and data and mitigate security risks while ensuring compliance with industry standards. 

This role is a hybrid role based out of our Lehi, UT office.

What you will own

Monitoring security alerts and analyzing log sources to investigate security events. 

Managing, responding to, and documenting security incidents. 

Deploying, configuring, maintaining, and tuning information security tools and technologies.

Identifying and protecting company confidential and protected information. 

Conducting vulnerability assessments, threat hunts, phishing campaigns, penetration tests, tabletop and information security training exercises. 

Identifying security risks and ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations. 

What you’ll need to be successful

5 years experience is required.

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, cyber security, information systems management, computer engineering, a related field or equivalent work experience.

Understanding of programming methodologies and proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, and Powershell.

Strong understanding of security principles, techniques, and technologies. 

Familiarity with data protection and privacy requirements. 

Knowledge of Information security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO27001, SOC2).

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of cross functional teams.
