JOB SUMMARY
The Information Security Analyst ensures compliance with all security policies and process and best practices in conjunction with enterprise security architectures as designed by the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). This individual acts as a key resource for the Security Operations Team. The Information Security Analyst will work with others in the Organization to understand security needs and develop and implement security solutions.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Minimum Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Sciences, Information Technology, Engineering or a related technical field; or Associates Degree in Computer Sciences or related field plus two years of relevant work experience.

EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required: Three years of experience working in an IT environment working with systems, databases, and networks. Demonstrated knowledge of industry regulations (Heath Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH)/Heath Insurance Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA), Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI), Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX)).

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) awarded by the International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC2) certification or Security Essentials (GSEC) awarded by SysAdmin, Audit, Network and Security Institute (SANS).
