\nThis job is for a role in Conduent’s Control Management Center (CMC). The CMC is part of the Regulatory and Compliance group in Conduent’s CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) organization. The CMC provides governance for a Critical Control Framework (i.e., set of IT security and regulatory controls) and works to ensure the framework is understood, monitored, and actioned upon throughout the lifecycle of IT engagements with Conduent’s clients. The goal of the CMC is to fundamentally change how Conduent maintains compliance with applicable security frameworks between assessments – the result being a continuous control management program. By providing evidence and evaluating control effectiveness throughout the year, the risk of non-compliance to security standards can be minimized and the amount of time needed to provision evidence during assessments can be reduced.
\nSpecific job functions for this role in the CMC include, but are not limited to, the following:
\n\n Learning/teaching about the various security frameworks (e.g., CIS – Center for Internet Security, PCI – Payment Card Industry, SOC – System and Organization Controls, NIST – National Institute of Standards and Technology, etc.)\n Learning how the security frameworks work inside an application that is used to centralize, measure, and manage IT security/compliance evidence.\n Becoming proficient in using the aforementioned application to understand IT security control status, assessment status, and more.\n Contributing to the maintenance of the security frameworks (e.g., submitting framework change requests as part of a change control process)\n Learning what evidence is required to meet the IT security controls, as well as the criteria used to evaluate the evidence.\n Become proficient in how to evaluate submitted evidence using the established evaluation criteria.\n Supporting Conduent teams who are required to submit IT security/compliance evidence.\n Supporting an initiative to gather ongoing compliance evidence well ahead of an IT security assessment, as well as help drive remediation of identified control gaps/failures.\n Contribute to CMC process improvement efforts.\n\nJob requirements
\n\n 3+ years of experience in Information Security.\n Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Technology, or similar\n Strong organizational skills and attention to detail\n Strong communication and interpersonal skills\n Strong analytical and problem-solving skills\n Knowledge of or an eagerness to learn about information security frameworks \n Strong project management skills\n Preferred knowledge in NIST and/or ISO 9001/27001 security frameworks\n\nPosition details

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated salary range for this role is $84,084-$109,200.\n
