Start & End Dates:

This Internship is fully remote and requires no travel. Your work location is the city/town/province/state you will be working from remotely. For our 12-week internship program, interns are allowed to work remotely from an alternative location for up to 2 weeks. Interns are also invited to work out of the CrowdStrike office located closest to their remote location.

CrowdStrike is looking for talented and  highly motivated university students to join our Information Security organization. This internship offers a unique chance to work on exciting security projects while gaining valuable experience in the exciting field of cyber security. As an intern within our Information Security organization  you will have the opportunity working in one of the following teams:

What You'll Do:

The Product Security team is looking for a Platform Security Engineer Intern who will:

Investigate small to large scale security and engineering issues to determine risk, impact, and recovery solutions

Conduct response and remediation efforts across complex systems and data sets

Examine systems and applications to understand current security posture

Advocate for best security practices, and engineer solutions to meet them

Security monitoring and response during business hours

Project work across a variety of efforts to enhance platform security

​The Security Architecture and Engineering team is looking for a Security Operations Intern who will:

Gather, collect, and interact with data from various sources and platforms

Create and develop end-to-end logging pipelines

Document procedures and develop dashboards bringing value to collected data

Work with team members to plan the deployment, configure, troubleshoot and maintain security infrastructure software

Support CrowdStrike’s security education and awareness program across all formats for our employees, contractors, executives and technical operating personnel.

The Bug Bounty team is looking for a Bug Bounty Intern who will:

Triage bug bounty reports

Communicate effectively and professionally with external third-parties

Collaborate with the security teams for further vulnerability analysis

Collaborate with engineers to track vulnerability through resolution

Maintain testing environments in support of bug bounty processes

Help with automation of manual processes

Document procedures

Assist with ad-hoc operational tasks as required

Contribute to the culture of information security across the organization

What You’ll Need: 

Candidate’s pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related technology field with a graduation date between December 2025-August 2026. 

Reliable, self-motivated, and self-disciplined individual capable of planning and executing multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment.

Intellectually curious team player with a genuine passion for finding, understanding, and mitigating cyber threats

Demonstrated a passion for cybersecurity through internship or job experience, schoolwork, CTFs or contributions to community projects.

Scripting capabilities shell, Python, Ruby, or some other automation system

Protocol knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, applied cryptography, others

Familiarity with IDS and SIEM systems such as Bro, Suricata, Splunk, Elk stack, LogScale, others

Practical penetration testing experience

Bonus Points: 

 Security certifications issued by GIAC, CompTIA, ISACA, or (ISC)2 a plus

Fundamental understanding of information security
