Your role and responsibilities

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.The work model for the role is: onsiteThis role is contributing to the Electrification Business.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tManaging EL IT security posture improvement.•\tPerforming solution architecture reviews and guiding security risk assessments. •\tProviding security recommendations and guidance for the business.•\tAssessing projects and applications from a security perspective. •\tVulnerability Management and finding remediation.•\tIS Crisis management and Cyber Resilience for EL.•\tInformation Security dashboards and reporting.•\tLiving ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues, and the business.

Qualifications for the role

\tCurrently enrolled in a Master's or bachelor's degree program in Information Systems or Information Security in the United States. \tGood knowledge about risk assessments and systems architecture or willingness to learn and implement. \tGood technical knowledge about security domains, architecture and assessment. \tIntern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite. \tMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future. \tUtilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions\tEffectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines\tDemonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality\tCollaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.
