The Information Security Project Manager is a coordination and leadership role within the Hallmark information security team. This team is accountable for the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Hallmark systems, data, and services across the Hallmark portfolio. Hallmark’s businesses rely on our information security division as a trusted partner in balancing risk while supporting a diverse portfolio of business requirements.
WHAT YOUR ROLE ENTAILS AND HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE
As an Information Security Project Manager, you will:
For core information security projects, define and manage the overall scope, plan, staffing/resource requirements, budget, timeline, quality, communication, risk, and vendor relationships based upon security requirements and approved budget Manage requests for information security resources on IT and business projects across the enterprise and direct the work of information security team members to ensure efficient execution and process compliance Provide team leadership and direction for improving processes followed by the Information Security organization to deliver standardized results in an efficient manner In support of information security resource assignments, facilitate the evaluation of decisions, trade-offs, and negotiations to deliver against timelines while balancing risk and influencing stakeholder navigation of complex issues and ambiguity Communicate with various stakeholders, including technical teams, senior management, and compliance officers, to ensure alignment and buy-in on security initiatives Define and monitor key process metrics Build and maintain partnerships with enabling organizations within Hallmark that collaborate in the processes required to manage risk Gain the confidence and trust of business partners and support organizations through honesty, integrity, and delivering on commitments Partner with technology and business partners to ensure compliance with policies and standards Evaluate processes and policies on an ongoing basis Mentor team members and internal technology partners
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree required or 5+ years in an information technology or information security role At least 2 years of progressive experience as a team lead, project lead or project manager
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Broad background in information security or information technology processes At least 2 years’ in an information security role Experience in a governance or compliance role Demonstrated ability to partner with diverse technology and business partners Demonstrated ability to communicate with senior leaders and officers Obtained an industry standard project management certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) Ability to operate independently with limited oversight Broad understanding of Hallmark’s global business Experience with Atlassian – Jira
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
This is a progressive role that will be filled at the level based on the skills and experience of the selected candidate. This is a hybrid role, with the opportunity to work both on-site at Hallmark's Headquarters and virtually from your residence in the Kansas City, MO metropolitan area. The team typically works at HQ at least one Wednesday per month. Other visits may be required for special projects or meetings. The intent of our hybrid strategy in Hallmark Technology is to drive in-person collaboration, build partnerships with the business, and enhance team culture, while maintaining flexible work arrangements, contributing to a positive work/life balance.
