MITER Brands, also known as Milgard and MI Windows & Doors, is one of the nation’s largest suppliers of vinyl windows and patio doors, with plants across the country. We are currently looking for Information Support Specialist I in Tacoma, WA. In this role you will be responsible for day-to-day user support and customer service on company supported computer applications and platforms. This position will work as part of a team to troubleshoot and resolve problems and engage the appropriate resources to resolve the issue when necessary.

Pay Range: $25 - $32 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

Responds to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, and electronically Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues Research required information using available resources Follow standard Support Desk procedures Route issues to appropriate resource Document all issue information according to standard operating procedure Log all Support Desk interactions with internal and external customers Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention or higher level of knowledge

Requirements 

High School Diploma or GED required. A degree in computer related field is desired. A+ Hardware certification is desired. ITIL standards certification is desired. Prolonged standing and periodically lifting, stretching and twisting Prolonged sitting and terminal use May be required to lift up to 50 lbs periodically Hand dexterity and strength Work outside normal hours may be required, including some weekends
