SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Information Systems Engineer to design, implement, and maintain efficient and scalable IT systems and infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating and optimizing both hardware and software components to support the company's technological needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operation and security of all information systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES 
•    Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, and cloud services.
•    Ensure the reliability, security, scalability and performance of information systems through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
•    Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop technical solutions that support organizational objectives.
•    Lead IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations, ensuring timely and successful completion.
•    Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
•    Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
•    Implement and enforce security best practices to protect information systems from threats and vulnerabilities.
•    Perform regular system audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
•    Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
•    Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends and recommend innovative solutions to improve IT infrastructure and operations.
•    Implement data backup and recovery plans to ensure business continuity

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
•    Proven experience in information systems engineering, with a strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining IT infrastructure.
•    In-depth knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, virtualization technologies, and cloud computing.
•    In-depth knowledge of managing Windows Domains, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, O365 Suite
•    Experience in managing Okta environments and ZTNA products.
•    Proficiency in using IT management tools and software, including monitoring, backup, and security solutions.
•    Familiarity with configuration management tools (like Ansible or Puppet)
•    Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
•    Project management skills, with a track record of successfully leading and completing IT projects.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
•    Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
•    Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, MCSE, VCP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
•    Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
•    Experience with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
•    Must be able to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
•    Ability to operate a computer and work at a desk for extended periods of time.
•    Ability to communicate effectively in writing, in person, over the telephone, and in an e-mail.
•    Ability to lift and move IT equipment as needed.
•    Hybrid office environment with regular use of computer and extended periods of sitting and standing.
•    Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends, and to participate in on-call rotation as needed.
