Essential Functions:

Assist ISSM and eventually implement Risk Management Framework (RMF) to assigned systems. Knowledge of the DOD Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG) is desirable. Capable of developing major and supporting certification and accreditation artifacts. Working knowledge in using the Enterprise Mission Assurance System (eMASS).Support the Cybersecurity Lead by implementing cybersecurity safeguards while maintaining operational capabilities. Some knowledge in Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), using the Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) to scan systems, patching information systems. Capable of learning the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) or the Nessus Essentials Vulnerability Scanner (free version) application used to identify system vulnerabilities. Train and mentor users on cybersecurity requirements on assigned systems.
