Systems Engineering Group, a subsidiary of Axient Corporation needs a full time Information Systems Security Officer to assist our experienced ISSM with the daily upkeep and advancement of our classified networks and computer infrastructure. This position would functionally be an ISSO reporting to the ISSM but would also include other IT related work around the workplace.  This position is to support primarily Windows Operating Systems. This position is open to a less experienced individual looking to grow or an experienced individual looking for a change to make an impact with a new company.

What you will do...

Primary responsibilities will include:

 

Assist ISSM with maintaining classified networksAssist Classified Internal Network Architect lead work station compliance and architecture changesAssist with overall classified network compliance for inspections and overall readinessContribute to the overall safety of our classified networks, workstation and data in regard to cyber security and complianceContribute to the overall Information Systems team, and the Navy business unit in adjacent work areas when needed Skills you will need...

Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearanceEDUCATION:  High School or High School EquivalentSelf-motivated and confident, looking to grow and learnAbility to work well with a teamExcellent written and communication skillsFamiliar use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Experience with Computer and Network securityRelevant Certifications in Computer security and network securitySecurity+
