Overview    Syntelligent Analytic Solutions, LLC provides uniquely qualified personnel with the expertise and tools needed to fulfill our customers’ management and technical requirements in the intelligence, defense, homeland security and commercial market space.         Our customers’ and Syntelligent’s success are built upon the core values of People First, Integrity & Accountability, Mission Driven, Community Focus and Team Oriented.      Syntelligent is seeking a full-time Information Systems Engineer to support upcoming/contingent work at USSTRATCOM/J61 !   Location: Offutt AFB, NE  Schedule: Day/ M-F    Responsibilities    Duties will include:   Design, sustain, modernize, and integrate enterprise-wide compute, storage, and backup solutions.  Utilize new techniques and software-defined approaches for Infrastructure and Platform as a Service (IaaS/PaaS) structures.  Manage operations of data processing, storage, and backup systems supporting USSTRATCOM infrastructure and business processes.  Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies and regulations, including DoD 8500 series, CNSSI 1253, and Risk Management Framework (RMF).  Provide technical oversight on system engineering processes, change control, and configuration management.  Participate in system lifecycle planning, capability modernization, and IT rationalization efforts.  Develop and maintain technical documentation, including configuration management databases (CMDBs) and IT roadmaps.    Required Qualifications:  Minimum of eight (8) years of experience as an IT Systems Engineer (SE).  Experience must include: Requirements Tradeoff, Cost Estimation, Technical Assessments, Technical Planning, Configuration Control Boards, Capabilities Based Assessments, Integrated Baseline Review, Lifecycle Sustainment Planning, Information Assurance / Cybersecurity, Requirements Traceability, Systems Engineering Plan, Work Breakdown Structure, Technical Audits  Minimum of one (1) year of experience or documented training in designing, deploying, and maintaining systems and capabilities  Must be able to obtain certification meeting 8140 series requirements within 6-months of notification  Minimum of five (5) years’ experience demonstrating written and oral communication skills including developing and presenting complex written products and oral briefings to senior leaders at the O-6/GS-15 level or higher  Senior-level specialized knowledge, skillset, and experience in creating, sustaining, modernizing and integrating enterprise-wide compute, storage, and backup solutions  Experience utilizing new techniques and software-defined approaches for infrastructure and PaaS/IaaS structures    Substitutions for experience:  A Master’s degree in engineering discipline or Computer Science can substitute for three (3) years of experience.  A Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline or Computer Science can substitute for one (1) year of experience.  Certification Requirement:  Must possess an active intermediate or higher technical certification in Information Systems Engineering, such as: CompTIA Server+, International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) ASEP, Microsoft Certified Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) Certified Storage Networking Expert    Clearance: Top Secret (TS) with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)    Mental Requirements: Must be able to multi-task and rapidly change priorities with limited notice.     Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit/stand at a desk for long-periods and must be able to lift 20 pounds occasionally.     Online applications, please.    When we review candidates' information, we are looking for the best matches for the position based on the qualifications listed in the job posting.
