Information Systems Intern - Document Composition

Join AAA’s Roadways College Internship Program!

AAA has an exciting opportunity to join the Document Composition Team for a 10-week internship.  Interns should have a career aspiration and passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. Interns will actively participate in program contributing to meaningful projects and work closely each week with the Document Composition Team.

About the Roadways College Internship Program:

Over the summer program, interns receive tools and resources for their growth and development that will help them prepare for the current and future workforce, including:

Understanding how to align business strategy with key objectives and initiativesUsing behavioral and communication tools to enhance their personal imageDemonstrating flexibility, agility, and the ability to respond effectively to changeCultivating relationships to increase collaboration and build trust

What You’ll Do

Participate in the development of automated processes that deliver Insurance and Membership bills, letters and policy documents to our customers.You will work with a team of developers to devise efficient and reliable solutions to accomplish the foregoing.  You will work on a agile team to collaborate with business unit representatives to understand the business requirements.You will  be a part of a continuous learning team to enhance and improve the deployed solutions as business needs evolve. 

What You’ll Need

Must be a rising or graduating Senior enrolled in a college/university with emphasis in computer science, engineering, mathematics or any analytical.A self-starter with the ability to communicate and work effectively in teams and cross-functionallyLight to medium complexity software development in JAVA and Python.Query development in MS SQLJava Script development.

Internship Eligibility:

Must commit to the entirety of the program; June 9th  through August 15thMust commit to working full time, 40 hours per weekMust be willing to commute to the office daily

Starting pay for this internship is $27.00 per hour.
