Join AAA’s Roadways College Internship Program!

AAA has an exciting opportunity to join the Insurance Guidewire Team for a 10-week internship.  Interns should have a career aspiration and passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. Interns will actively participate in program contributing to meaningful projects and work closely each week with the Insurance Guidewire Team.

About the Roadways College Internship Program:

Over the summer program, interns receive tools and resources for their growth and development that will help them prepare for the current and future workforce, including:

Understanding how to align business strategy with key objectives and initiatives

Using behavioral and communication tools to enhance their personal image

Demonstrating flexibility, agility, and the ability to respond effectively to change

Cultivating relationships to increase collaboration and build trust

What You’ll Do

Participate in job shadowing/hands-on activities (i.e., pair programming, attending daily stand-ups, code review, sprint planning, architecture review, production deployments, ceremonies, and retrospectives) 

Assist in coding creative solutions for our business partners in Guidewire, a cloud-based SaaS platform.

Participate in team building and volunteer events

What You’ll Need

Must be a rising or graduating Senior enrolled in a college/university with emphasis in Computer Science or similar.

A self-starter with the ability to communicate and work effectively in teams and cross-functionally

Strong understanding of Java and Object-Oriented principles.

SQL Skills

Internship Eligibility:

Must commit to the entirety of the program, June 9th through August 15th.

Must commit to working full time, 40 hours per week

Must be willing to commute to the office daily

Starting pay for this internship is $27 per hour
