KEY RESPONSIBILITIES + Maintain government compliance for information systems as an Information Systems Security Officer in accordance with NIST SP800-53. + Work closely with other ISSOs, the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) and Facility Security Officers (FSO). + Perform auditing of information systems, including collecting and analyzing audit logs. + Perform monthly compliance scans and vulnerability scans and then remediating and mitigating findings. + Perform monthly and quarterly security control validation using SCAP Compliance Checker and STIG Viewer. + Perform duties of an ISSO as detailed in the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM). The annual base salary for this position is $98,400 - $123,2000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
