Summary
We are looking for an IT Intern to join our team and help us with various tasks related to hardware, software, and network maintenance. You will work under the supervision of our IT team and learn how to troubleshoot issues, work on projects, update documentation and support our staff with their IT needs.
Responsibilities
Technical support:
Assisting with troubleshooting hardware and software issues for employees.Setting up and configuring computers and peripherals for new hires.Assisting with calls on the helpdeskCybersecurity:
Assisting in monitoring and reviewing security incidentsFollowing up with IT team members to complete response to alertsAssisting in coordinating SOG meetingProject management:
Assisting in coordinating IT projects, including creating project plans and schedules.Tracking project progress and updating stakeholders.Assisting in documenting project deliverablesIT procurement and asset management:
Assisting in managing IT inventory and asset tracking.Reviewing obsolete equipment and creating list for destructionAssisting in reviewing standard equipment and placing order requests with vendorsIT documentation:
Assisting in documenting IT processes, procedures, and configurations.Updating the company's knowledge base and creating user guides.Assisting in organizing and maintaining IT documentation.Requirements
Basic computer hardware knowledge: Understand the components of a computer system, such as CPU, RAM, hard drives, and peripherals, and how they work together.Operating systems: Familiarity with Windows and/or macOS. Ability navigate the interface, perform basic system tasks, and troubleshoot common issues.Troubleshooting skills: Problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve common issues. Ability to research solutions, use online resources, and effectively communicate with users to troubleshoot problems.Spreadsheets: Understand how to work with spreadsheets, including functions, formulas, sorting, filtering, and basic data manipulation. Familiarize yourself with Microsoft Excel.Documentation: Ability to document technical processes and procedures. $16.50 - $19.65Reasonable Pay Estimate
A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $16.50 - $19.65.
