**Amentum** is seeking an Information Technology Manager to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) Mission in **West Palm Beach, Florida** . AUTEC is a Major Range and Test Facility Base (MRTFB) and the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport's largest single team project, providing both deep and shallow water test and training environments. **Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.** **Essential Responsibilities:** + Oversee support of Server/Application Administration, IT Security, Software Development, Network Engineering, PC Helpdesk Support, and IT Configuration Management. + Supervise approximately 20 professionals, including two manager direct-reports, and direct supervision of the Network team. + Recruit and retain the staff needed to meet requirements. + Coordinate solutions with Corporate IT when surge support is needed. + Manage within targets a $2 M yearly labor budget and a material budget varying from $200K - $1M depending on funding availability. At a minimum, monthly updates with actual and expected expenditures are required. + Project Management to include planning and monitoring schedules and cost, monitoring and mitigating risks, and working with stakeholders through project completion. + Ensure IT systems remain compliant with DoD Cyber Security mandates. + Work closely with government/customer IT subject matter expert, maintaining frequent communication, and ensuring expectations are understood. + Work with customer and intra-company departments to develop IT solutions to improve business processes. + Review and understand all IT contract requirements and tasking. + Monitor contract IT metrics and ensure high performance level is met. + Weekly and monthly statuses of tasking completed or upcoming plans. + Conduct periodic performance reviews of direct reports. + Periodic travel to the AUTEC facility on Andros Island, Bahamas is required. + Other job-related duties as assigned. **Minimum Requirements** + Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. An appropriate Bachelor’s Degree and extensive experience may also be considered. + Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a supervisory role. + Experience managing project-wide IT initiatives. + Hands on experience with network engineering. + Knowledgeable of enterprise IT support for all significant IT functions, including software development, network engineering, PC helpdesk, ERP, and configuration management. + Knowledgeable of DoD Cyber Security requirements. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Project Management skills, with an eye towards requirements tracking, communication, resource scheduling, and cost control. + Must have a valid driver's license and U.S. Passport. + **Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.** **Preferred Qualifications** + Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
