This position will serve under the general supervision of the Iowa Department of Public Defense (Iowa Army National Guard). What You’ll Do: + Interact professionally with Iowa National Guard (IANG) personnel (via: phone, in person, or electronic system) on Information Technology (IT) issues. + Create tickets in current organizational ticket management system, troubleshoot, update, and configure computer software, hardware, operating systems, drivers and map network drives + Provide users with Microsoft Army 365 support (Email, TEAMS, Online support of office products) + Coordinate with Iowa Army National Guard units on upcoming IT changes and distribute information to IANG personnel on IT related topics as directed. + Perform upgrades / repairs, ensuring to follow established security measures according to DoD, State, and local policy + Serve as the first point of contact to document customer issues and resolve problems + Prepare written and oral instructions for the operation IT equipment + Document procedures, fixes, and how to documents. + Perform other related help desk functions as technology evolves.
