Information System Security Officer (ISSO)

Indianapolis, IN

This position requires a qualified security professional who can work independently and within a team environment in support of multiple Rolls-Royce North America Technologies Inc., Defense programs and support of our corporate security standards.  Functionally, you support the process to protect classified information.  Primary function is to support the implementation of all classified security policy, procedures, and government security requirements required by the United States Government.

Key Accountabilities:  

Support performance of Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements (includes generation of documentation, controls compliance testing, and continuous monitoring/controls validation activities.)Sustain Information Assurance activities (hardware change management, software change management, account management, media protection, user interface, file transfers, etc.)Support information system proactive and continuous monitoring auditing, self-inspections and peer reviewsProvide technical support and maintenance of technology systems, including network and server infrastructure, high performance / purpose built servers, high performance and common-use workstations, and applicationsAssist with incident response, investigation, and resolutionParticipate in configuration and build managementSupport special security-related events and projects as needed.

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology (IT), Information Security, Cybersecurity, Associates Degree with 2+ years of IT security support or, 4+ years of experience in IT security supportSEC+ CertificationMust be eligible for and maintain a U.S. DoD Top Secret Security ClearanceKnowledge of NISPOM, Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency Assessment and Authorization manual (DAAPM), Intelligence Community Directives and associated security regulations, policies, and laws and applicability to business operationsUnderstanding and practical application of Windows and Linux operating systems, information security, networking fundamentals, and application support
