Job Title: Infotainment system engineer for defect triaging

Experience:

6-9 years of relevant experience in defect triaging for infotainment system

 Education & Training:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electronics & Communication/Electrical Engineering or in a relevant stream. 

Job Responsibilities:

Root cause analysis of issues based on logs/traces.Identification of duplicate tickets based on root cause analysis.Identifying and assigning severity and priority of defects.Check for quality of the reported defects.Analyzing and identifying correct domain of the raised defects.Follows defined process guidelines for creating and maintaining triaging documentation.Collaborate with developers, testers and automation engineers to understand and clarify the reported defects.Perform tests for functional/non-functional requirements (if needed).

Mandatory Skills:

Excellent in Infotainment system defect analysis and triagingExcellent in trace or log analysis (DLT/CAN/Ethernet logs etc.).Knowledge on automotive tools like DLT Viewer, Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, DTS Monaco etc.Strong in Automotive Infotainment system testing for different OEMs, regions and languages.Knowledge of automotive communication protocols like SOME-IP, SOME-IP SD, CAN, Flexray, MOST, Ethernet diagnostics UDP, UDS ISO-14229 etc.Excellent communication skills.

Desired Skills

Knowledge on network communications.Working experience in trace analysis of Android applications.Experience with hardware devices used in automotive testing like Vector, K2L, Power Supply, power matrix etc.
