Overview

Global Enterprise Organization seeking full-time Infrastructure Administrator in Hyderabad, India. The Administrator is responsible for administering infrastructure requests, handling ticket management, and maintaining the operations of the technical infrastructure of the organization.

Responsible for supporting the company’s Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, Office
365, VMware virtual environment, and storage infrastructure.Ticket management and end to end ownership of ticketsWork closely with the other Infrastructure teams to improve SLAs, ticket resolution times, and
gain knowledge of the company’s systemsHandle daily support for all areas of Infrastructure.Change request implementation for standard\common changeCreation of new virtual machines, groups, user accountsMonitor and handle access control to internal systemsRemediating security vulnerabilities and other findings as necessaryMonitor the ticket queue to ensure SLAs are metAssist as necessary with any other assigned duties that may arise Qualifications

Qualifications

BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent degree/experience.3 minimum years of IT infrastructure administrationDemonstrated understanding of complex problem-solving techniques dealing with
infrastructure support.Experience with some of the following areas / concepts:
o Windows Server and Linux operating systems
o Active Directory (maintenance, group policy, permissions)
o VM server creation
o Enterprise storage systems
o Physical server class hardware
o Data center operationsSome level of experience using a ticketing tool. ManageEngine ServiceDesk experience is a plus.System monitoring and administration tool sets - VCenter, ADUC, storage management tools,
etc.An understanding of networking and administrationBasic understanding of DNSUsed some security tools and software – anti-virus, anti-malware, patch managementCreating\deleting accounts in Microsoft Office 365Some experience with Active Directory and/or Azure Active Directory

 

Other Skills:

Industry recognized certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, Redhat, VMWare etc) highly desirableExperience with BitDefender antivirus and ManageEngine Patch managerHands on experience with automation suites (vRealize, Ansible, BMC, etc)Reasonable level of experience with automation and/or scriptingA strong desire to make a difference.Able to set objectives, meet deadlines and work under pressure in a fast moving businessExcellent interpersonal and communication skills.Has broad perspective and understanding of business and trends in the market place; is current
on business and industry trends.Has a holistic approach to business; understands his/her own area of expertise and how it applies
to the good of the group/business.Excellent organizational and project management skills.Strong problem-resolution skillsMust be detail-oriented and a team player.
