We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer with a strong background in Windows server management, system monitoring, and automation. The ideal candidate will support our infrastructure operations by patching and securing Windows servers, assisting in the setup of monitoring systems (Prometheus, Grafana, cAdvisor), and contributing to CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins. In addition, the candidate will work on Kibana/Elasticsearch proof of concept and actively engage in security vulnerability management.

Windows Server Patching & Security:
Responsible for the patching, upgrading, and maintaining Windows-based servers in accordance with industry best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and apply security patches.
Regularly attend security vulnerability calls and contribute to tracking and resolving vulnerabilities in Windows server environments.
Create and maintain patching schedules and documentation.
Security Vulnerability Management:
Attend regular security vulnerability calls to gather and collate information on the vulnerability status of all Windows servers.
Assist in triaging vulnerabilities and providing remediation steps.
Support vulnerability scanning tools and processes, ensuring timely patch application and mitigation of risks.
Monitoring System Setup (Prometheus, Grafana, cAdvisor):
Work closely with the team to set up, configure, and maintain Prometheus, Grafana, and cAdvisor for real-time infrastructure monitoring and alerting.
Troubleshoot and optimize performance issues related to these tools.
Develop dashboards and custom alerts to monitor system health, performance, and capacity.
CI/CD Pipeline Setup (Jenkins):
Assist in the design, setup, and configuration of Jenkins pipelines to automate infrastructure and application deployments.
Integrate Jenkins with various tools and platforms to support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) initiatives.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline build, test, and deployment workflows.
General Infrastructure Support:
Provide hands-on support for various infrastructure services and systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
Participate in incident management and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related issues.
Document processes, troubleshooting steps, and configurations for internal knowledge sharing.
Experience:
5+ years of hands-on experience working with Windows server environments (Windows Server 2016/2019/2022).
Strong knowledge of patch management processes and tools.
Prior experience with infrastructure monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and cAdvisor.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins (setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting pipelines).
• Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Windows Server Administration (installation, configuration, and maintenance).
Experience with security vulnerability management (patching, scans, and risk mitigation).
Knowledge of system monitoring and alerting techniques (e.g., Grafana dashboards, Prometheus metrics).
Basic scripting or automation experience (Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar).
Understanding of cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
o Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
o Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
o Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
o Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA Security+, or similar.
• Experience with Docker and containerized application monitoring (cAdvisor, Prometheus).
• Familiarity with Linux systems (basic command-line and system administration).
• Experience in DevOps or Agile environments.
