Overview CubeSmart is hiring an Infrastructure and Endpoint Manager to join our Information Technology department at our Malvern, PA headquarters. The Infrastructure and Endpoint Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the IT infrastructure and endpoint devices. This position ensures the seamless operation, maintenance, and enhancement of our IT systems, providing a robust and secure environment for our business operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in the relevant technologies, excellent leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This role also involves collaborating with leadership to develop strategic IT plans and process improvements, strongly emphasizing lifecycle optimization across a landscape that includes cloud (Azure), on-premise, and endpoint resources. Responsibilities Under the direction of the Senior Manager - Infrastructure Architecture, this role oversees the daily operational support of business-critical IT systems and processes. This includes installing, configuring, and ongoing support of user endpoints and infrastructure technologies. The role involves planning and implementing system upgrades to ensure consistent service levels and leading efforts to replace outdated infrastructure , ensuring the organization's IT environment remains reliable, secure, and efficient. Infrastructure Management: Oversee and manage the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage devices, and data centers. Ensure the infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure. Plan, coordinate, and execute system upgrades and enhancements to maintain optimal performance and compatibility with the latest technologies. Ensure all critical infrastructure is consistently backed up and recoverable. Contribute to disaster recovery planning and implementation. Endpoint Management: Manage and maintain endpoint devices and their security, including monitoring and ensuring timely deployment of vendor-supplied updates and patches. Oversee the use of tools like SentinelOne and Intune to ensure system integrity and regulatory compliance. Develop secure imaging processes and coordinate deployment strategies for all endpoint devices. Identity Management: Oversee identity management solutions' implementation, configuration, and management, focusing on automation and role-based access controls. Develop user provisioning, on-boarding, off-boarding, and access authorization management processes. Serve as a subject matter expert for identity management tools (SailPoint preferred). Process Development and Implementation: Analyze existing environments to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Implement new processes and controls seamlessly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Contribute to documentation regarding regulatory compliance and industry standards. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of infrastructure, policies, procedures, and incidents. Maintain and continuously validate the endpoint inventory. Vendor Management Collaborate with vendors and service providers to procure, implement, and support It components and services. Evaluate vendor performance and manage vendor relationships. Leadership and Collaboration: Lead and mentor a team of IT engineers, providing guidance, training, and hands-on technical support to ensure high performance and continuous development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards. Qualifications Required: 5-7 years of experience in infrastructure and endpoint management, with a strong technical focus on endpoints. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study, OR 5 years of relevant professional experience. Extensive experience with endpoint management and security tools using Microsoft Intune and Sentinel One. Hands-on experience in patch management and secure configuration of endpoints using Microsoft Intune. Proficiency with identity management solutions (SailPoint preferred). Preferred: Experience with Meraki and Cisco networking technologies Experience with VMWare, Cisco UCS, and Pure Storage data center technologies Experience managing and architecting Azure environments. Experience managing Microsoft 365 applications and services. Familiarity with ITIL processes Proficiency in Powershell and Graph scripting for automation tasks. General Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to manage and lead technical teams. Solid understanding of project management principles.
