**Role Description**
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Automation Engineer to join our team and help drive the automation of infrastructure deployment, scaling, monitoring, and management. This role focuses on building, optimizing, and scaling our infrastructure through scripting, automation, and DevOps best practices. The ideal candidate will bring experience in automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and managing cloud environments to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
**Role Objectives**
+ Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks and tools to manage infrastructure provisioning, scaling, monitoring, and configuration, ensuring infrastructure as code (IaC) principles.
+ Develop and manage automated deployment pipelines using tools like Terraform, Ansible to deploy infrastructure and services consistently across environments.
+ Work closely with the development and DevOps teams to integrate automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient deployment and updates.
+ Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting tools, reports and dashboards to provide visibility into infrastructure performance and health assisting troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure-related issues quickly and efficiently.
+ Write scripts in languages like YAML, Python, Bash Shell, or PowerShell to automate repetitive tasks and improve system reliability and maintainability.
+ Implement security best practices and compliance controls in all automated processes, ensuring robust access management, encryption, and monitoring practices are in place.
+ Maintain detailed documentation of all automated processes and configurations. Provide training and knowledge sharing to other team members to foster a collaborative environment.

**Qualifications and Skills**
**Qualifications:**
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
**Experience:**
+ 3+ years of experience in infrastructure automation, DevOps, or a related role.
+ Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
+ Hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform and developing Ansible Automation and has a deep understanding of ansible-core: 2.10+ Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (preferably Python).
**Skills & Knowledge:**
+ Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and their automation tools.
+ Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes
+ Solid knowledge of networking, security protocols, and system administration in cloud and virtual environments.
+ Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
+ Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
+ Strong communication and documentation abilities.
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements.
