Key Responsibilities:

Assist in assessing and evaluating current virtual computing infrastructure and provide recommendations for enhancements. Assist in drafting documentation, performing root cause analysis, and recommending possible solutions. Participate in requirements gathering and drafting runbook/ work instructions for routine tasks. Assist in internal and external security audits, vulnerability assessments and tracking vulnerabilities until closure. Adhere to existing governance policies and processes to ensure non-compliance incidents are minimized.  Assist in reviewing recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and system resilience. Recommend implementation of automation tools and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) to streamline routine tasks and improve operational efficiency. Review infrastructure patch updates, ensuring systems are up-to-date with the latest security patches. Assist in reviewing and maintaining documentation for system configurations, procedures, and infrastructure diagrams. Manage and track outstanding issues for resolution and closure with relevant stakeholders. Manage records retention, document filing and housekeeping for the Systems Process. Any other tasks assigned by the dept.

Requirements

Minimum Diploma holder, preferably in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Preferably with some working experience and knowledge in Windows and Linux operating systems. Familiarity with government security requirements will be an advantage. Strong customer experience mindset, listening, understanding and responding to customer needs. Proficient in MS Office. Possess a positive and agile working attitude. Meticulous in tracking, tactful and willing to learn. Multi-tasking, able to work under pressure. Team player with good written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
