Position Description:

Our Space, Defence & Intelligence team in Canberra is growing. We are currently on the hunt for a Infrastructure Technician with a valid NV2 security clearance to come and join the team on their journey.Under direction from the Solutions Architect and Environmental Lead you will develop, build, configure and document key components of a network for implementation into a production environment for the Hyper Converged Infrastructure components of the network.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Assist in the development of a Defence stand-alone network, including
• Build and configuration activities,
• Development of Build Instructions,
• Assistance to Solutions Architect on product design,
• Assistance to network lead on builds (utilising existing Build Instructions)
- Conduct work in accordance with the Project AGILE Methodology, including maintaining JIRA and participating in stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning and retrospectives.

• Experience in AGILE development environment.
• Ability to maintain security awareness and implement security best practices.
• Experience in developing Build Instructions (BIs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs),
• Ability to work well in a team environment, communicate effectively with technical leads & project management and meet project deadlines
• Ability to independently learn new concepts and skillsets and improve upon existing technical knowledge.
