Job DescriptionThe Infrastructure Systems Team supports and ensures business success through a wide range of technology solutions. The Infrastructure Engineer will serve as a critical team member in the implementation and maintenance of our company’s infrastructure. Responsibilities
Provide a 24x7 service environment within your area of specialization to a global client baseDevelop, implement, and maintain Information Technology infrastructureSupport and troubleshoot LAN & WAN connectionsActive Directory support, Group Policy mgmt. and troubleshootingApplication deployment through PDQ, SCCM, etcManage and maintain servers and virtualization technologies within scope of responsibilityScout and research new technologies for potential fit, focusing on continuous improvement and value to the business.Provide production support, including performance monitoring and trouble ticket resolution.Installation and wiring of computer and networking equipmentAnalysis of daily user functions to increase efficiency of users and applicationsLead or contribute to projects and be accountable for deliverables and successful implementation.QualificationsQualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required2+ years of related experience in IT InfrastructureDemonstrable drive and passion for providing technology solutionsPrior experience with Operating Systems and enterprise-class virtualization technologies: Microsoft Windows, Linux, MS Server, VMware ESX/NSX, Cisco UCSCustomer service orientated with the ability to work in a team environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsUnderstanding of LAN/WAN connectivity and troubleshootingProactive performance monitoring with system management and monitoring systems (Splunk, PRTG, SNMP/NetFlow, SCCM, OpsManager, etc..)Readily picks up and applies new technologies, communicates effectively, and works effectively on project teams as a leader or as a participantAdditional InformationFortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $55,000 USD - $70,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
