The Base

You’ll be based at our Benchmark Head Office within the Broadlands Business Campus near Horsham in West Sussex. This scenic, countryside location offers a spacious working environment, on-site amenities, and convenient shuttle services from Horsham’s main line train station. You will also be required to travel to other offices, including the main Schroders headquarters in London.

What You'll Do

Collaborate with the service desk team to resolve escalated tickets promptly.Deliver Information Systems projects and recommend system improvements.Adhere to documented procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Maintain company servers (physical, virtual, and Azure cloud) and manage Active Directory, backups, Azure Cloud Office 365.Perform periodic audits and ensure data security and recoverability of critical systems.Educate staff on computer operation, infrastructure policies, and application use.Monitor and support telecoms and conferencing systems.Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.Provide regular out-of-hours on-call support for priority incidents and maintenance.

The Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications You Need

Experience working within a technology team.Proficient with virtualisation technologies (On-Premise or Cloud).Familiarity with ticket-based workload management (changes, problems, requests, and incidents).Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.Administration of MS Office 365.Excellent interpersonal, time management, and communication skills.

Desirable Skills or Experience

Strong understanding of PowerShell scripting.Working knowledge of Veeam Backup and Replication.Experience with MS Endpoint Manager/Intune for policy deployment.Understanding of Single Sign-On and Multi-Factor Authentication.Knowledge of SPF, DKIM, and DMARC security aspects for email systems.Understanding of networking principles and troubleshooting.Familiarity with the ITIL Framework.
