Raytheon Technologies (RTX) is looking for a Scrum Master for the Software Infrastructure (SWI) Team located in Richardson TX. The ideal candidate should have a working knowledge of the Scrum framework, with all its artifacts and techniques. They will have a background in DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IAC) to coordinate people resources and program projects (occasionally facilitating changes) focused on program deliverables. We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer – Scrum Master to work in our Richardson, TX location.

What You Will Do

You will utilize your Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience to leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to assist with deployment, implementation, modernization, and support of infrastructure solutionsYou will Manage the project’s scope and timeline, Coordinate sprints, meetings, and daily stand-ups in an Agile framework environmentYou will work to resolve conflicts by removing obstacles that occur during product development and be the primary point of contact for external communicationsYou will utilize your knowledge of various Agile frameworks (SAFe, SCRUM, Kanban, XP etc.) to execute to planYou will assist with development of build/test pipeline and integration, optimizing for performance and scalability across on-premises computing environmentsYou will assist engineers with tool usage and issues, leveraging standards and best practices

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics and 3-5 years of related work experienceExperience in a Scrum Master roleExperience with Implementing Scaled Agile FrameworksExperience with automation tools/frameworks such as: Ansible, Chef, and/or TerraformAn Active and transferable TS/SCI U.S. government issued security clearance is required on Day 1. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

Scrum Master certification is a plus (must work towards attaining certification within 120 days)Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g. Scrum, SAFe)Knowledge and familiarity with Git/JenkinsExperience with ContainerizationExperience with code repository systems (E.g. ClearCase, Bit Bucket)General working knowledge of networks, storage, and virtualizationExperience working with DOD or other government agenciesKnowledge and familiarity with Atlassian tool suite, such as: Jira and ConfluenceExperience with infrastructure development/deploymentWilling to work on-site as part of highly diverse team

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
