Secure Innovation is part of CGI’s Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit, focused primarily on the delivery of contemporary and innovative technical solutions for the government agencies most challenging problems. Our teams work alongside our clients to help them understand how to exploit technologies to maintain competitive advantage. We are currently looking for experienced Infrastructure Engineer with experience within either network, storage or windows to join our team – being able to think outside of the box to overcome technical challenges is essential!
Your future duties and responsibilities:Network Infrastructure Management
- Design, implement, and manage complex network architectures, including LAN, WAN, and cloud-based systems.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network resources to ensure high availability and security.
- Configure and maintain firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs in compliance with security policies.
Storage Infrastructure Management
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of storage solutions, including SAN, NAS, and backup systems.
- Ensure data integrity, availability, and security through regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and storage optimization.
- Implement and manage storage policies, quotas, and replication to ensure efficient and secure data management.
Windows Server Management
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other core services.
- Perform regular patch management, software updates, and system upgrades to maintain security and performance standards.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in accordance with organizational security policies.
You will hold active HMG HLC Clearance and must be solely UK National.
