What you can expect
As an Infrastructure Operations Engineer within a UCaaS (Unified Communications as a Service) data center. You would be responsible for managing and maintaining the underlying infrastructure that supports cloud-based communication services, such as voice, video, messaging, and collaboration tools.
About the Team
The Infrastructure Operations Engineer will join a highly skilled and dynamic team responsible for supporting global data center operations. This close-knit group of 8 dedicated professionals manages the infrastructure across 60 global data centers that power the services for Zoom worldwide. With a focus on servers, networking, and security, the team ensures the smooth, secure, and efficient functioning of these critical systems. Operating primarily within the IST time zone, they play a pivotal role in maintaining the high availability and reliability of global communication services.
What we’re looking for
Experience in related field or certificate or degree programs such as Industrial Technology, Computer Electronics and Networking Technology, Information TechnologyExperience in data center colocation operations, network fundamentals and server hardware troubleshooting skillsExperience with asset managementExperience in accounting and financeRequire scripting experience (e.g. Python, JavaScript, PHP, PERL, Ruby, etc.)Experience with JIRA ticketing systemExperience working with Configuration management database (CMDB)Ways of Working
